My goal is to give your older child consistency, familiarity, and attentive care while you’re welcoming their new sibling—and to give you the freedom to focus on your birth without worrying about what’s happening at home.
WHAT IS A SIBLING DOULA?
A familiar presence during a very big change.
Welcoming a new baby is a big transition for the whole family—including older siblings. Sibling doula care provides dependable, on-call childcare from someone your child has had time to get to know, so you can focus on labor and birth knowing they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
How Sibling Doula Care Works
Free initial consultation plus two in-home prenatal visits to meet your child, learn their routines, tour your home, and become comfortable with one another.
02 When Labor Begins
On-call availability surrounding your estimated due date, so familiar care can step in when it’s time to welcome your baby.
03 While You Welcome Your Baby
Up to 24 hours of continuous childcare, including overnight care, while following your family’s established schedules, routines, and care instructions.
Authorized transportation, including school or preschool drop-off and pickup, ongoing communication about your child, and additional care beyond the initial 24 hours when needed.
