Meet the heart behind Lotus Doula Care-
Isabel (she/her)
Never said no to a crisis
Is an LA native, SF resident, a doula, nanny, and overall nurturer. She holds a BS in Natural Sciences with a pre-med concentration. As an eldest daughter, she is a natural caregiver and organizer with a gift for anticipating a need and resolving it creatively and calmly before a situation becomes a problem.
Beyond caregiving, she loves reading (especially trauma memoirs), taking her dog to the park, and researching methods to lower US maternal mortality rates. She lives in Mission Dolores with her partner Jack and their chocolate rescue dog. You can often find her gardening on her fire escape.

Why Me?
My goal is to care for those who care for everyone else – mothers. I got into this work to help combat the maternal and infant mortality rates in the US which disproportionately affects Black and Brown communities. I hope my work emboldens and provides strength to my clients to speak up for themselves not just in their birth, but in all their endeavors.
My path as a doula has taught me that beginnings and endings, though seemingly opposite, share the same essence: vulnerability, love, and transformation. It’s an honor to walk with people through both.
Grounded in empathy, mindfulness, and professionalism, I bring a calm energy and a deep respect for every story I’m invited into.

Pregnancy & Birth
I offer guidance and emotional support throughout pregnancy and birth. Together, we create an environment where you feel safe, empowered, and deeply supported as you welcome new life into the world.
Remote or Virtual Support
I provide virtual consultations and guidance when in-person support isn’t feasible. This can be particularly helpful for planning, check-ins, or postpartum follow-ups.
Childcare and Nanny Services
With 10+ years of experience, I offer part time childcare from newborn up to 14 years old
