Guiding each transition with care and connection

Pregnancy & Birth

YOUR PRENATAL CARE

What's included in my prenatal care?

Each visit is designed to build confidence, connection, and practical preparation as you move toward birth and early parenthood.

01

Virtual Prenatal Appointment

Our first prenatal visit is designed to create a strong foundation of trust, connection, and thoughtful preparation for your birth journey. Together we’ll explore the practical aspects of birth and the emotional experience that comes with parenthood.

During this session, we’ll begin getting to know each other, your relationship with your partner, and the unique vision you hold for your birth experience. We’ll talk through your hopes, priorities, and the atmosphere you want to cultivate during labor — including how each partner wants to feel throughout the process.

We’ll cover the four key aspects of holistic birth preparation: physical, emotional, mental/hormonal, and spiritual or meaning-centered support, depending on your preferences.

My goal is for you to leave feeling more aligned, supported, and deeply connected to your vision for welcoming a new member of your family.

02

Newborn Preparation & Feeding

This in-home session is designed to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you prepare to nourish and care for your newborn in the early postpartum days. Together, we’ll create a calm and practical foundation for feeding, recovery, and adjusting to life with your baby.

We’ll walk through comfortable nursing and feeding positions in different areas of your home, helping you discover setups that feel supportive, sustainable, and realistic for daily life. We’ll also review your feeding equipment — including pumps, bottles, milk collection tools.

In addition to practical preparation, we’ll cover what to realistically expect during the first days of breastfeeding and newborn feeding, including:

  • feeding frequency and hunger cues,
  • cluster feeding,
  • diaper output and signs baby is getting enough milk,
  • breast care and maternal recovery.

Much of this will be reinforced in our postpartum visit.

CARE + CONNECTION

My goal is for you to feel more grounded, prepared, and reassured as you enter the postpartum period — with realistic expectations, hands-on guidance, and practical tools that help feeding feel more manageable and supported.

03

In-Home Prenatal Visits & Birth Rehearsal

In-home visits offer a hands-on, deeply supportive space to prepare physically and emotionally for labor and birth. These sessions are designed to help you and your partner feel more confident, connected, and equipped with practical tools for navigating labor together.

During our time together, we’ll explore comfort measures and pain-coping techniques for both early labor and active labor, including movement, positioning, breathwork, grounding techniques, partner support, and ways to create a calming birth environment. Rather than simply discussing these tools, we will actively practice them together through a guided birth rehearsal experience.

This is an interactive and physical session where we’ll move through labor positions, comfort techniques, touch-based support, and partner-assisted methods that can help create greater ease, relaxation, and resilience during labor. My goal is for both you and your support person to leave feeling prepared, empowered, and more connected to your ability to work together through the unfolding experience of birth.

04

Postpartum Visit

Our postpartum visit is intentionally gentle, supportive, and centered around your recovery and transition into early parenthood. Unlike the more structured prenatal sessions, this visit creates space to slow down, reflect, and process your birth experience in a way that feels grounding and supportive.

Together, we’ll revisit your birth story — celebrating meaningful moments, unpacking unexpected experiences, and allowing space for emotional processing if needed. A strong focus of this visit is maternal recovery, both physically and emotionally, as your body, identity, relationship, and daily rhythms continue to shift in the postpartum period.

We’ll check in on how feeding is going, how rest and healing are progressing, and how supported you feel within your partnership and home environment. This session often becomes a blend of education, emotional support, reassurance, and practical guidance tailored to your unique needs in the moment.

My role during this visit is to provide a calm, compassionate space where you feel seen, supported, and cared for — not just as a parent, but as a whole person moving through a major life transition.
